The Most Expensive Hotel Rooms In The World

When it comes to vacations, people usually try to keep things affordable. They don’t want to overspend on their trip in case they need that money later. Of course, for those with millions in the bank, expensive vacations are simply par for the course. That’s why they spend thousands to sleep in the most luxurious hotel rooms in the world.

Penthouse Suite, Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez (Cannes)

For $43,100, you can have the honor of staying in the Penthouse Suite at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hôtel Martinez. With stunning views overlooking the water, waking up here is like a dream that really has come true. Plus, it’s an amazing place to be in May, with many celebrities choosing to stay in this hotel during the annual Cannes Film Festival.

Ty Warner Penthouse, Four Seasons (New York)

New York City has some incredible hotels, but few can compare to the Four Seasons. After all, this place boasts one of the world’s most expensive hotel rooms in the form of Ty Warner Penthouse. A night here will set you back $44,300, although at least you get a lot of bang for your buck. With 360-degree views of the surrounding city, as well as furniture crafted from the finest materials in existence, a stay here is like nothing else.

Hilltop Villa (Fiji)

If you’re going to visit Fiji, you may as well go all out and throw $61,000 into the hotel room from paradise. Hilltop Villa has everything a rich guest could want, including a stunning lap pool where you can really take in the surrounding views. No visitor here ever has to worry about doing anything for themselves, because the services of a chauffeur, cook, and nanny come as part of the package. All you have to do is sit back and relax as you make the most of your time in Fiji.

Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel (Geneva)

There aren’t many people who have enough cash set aside to afford $74,000 for a hotel room. However, those lucky enough to be so rich can enjoy a stay at the Royal Penthouse Suite in Geneva’s President Wilson Hotel. The outside of this room alone is worth the money with its incredible view over Lake Geneva. You can enjoy it while sitting out on the terrace, unless you’d prefer to hear some tunes on the room’s grand piano.

The 13 (Macau)

Given it reportedly cost around $6.16 million to make each room at The 13, it shouldn’t be surprising that staying here is so expensive. The hotel apparently charges $80,000 a night, making it one of the priciest rooms around. Fortunately, once you see what this place looks like, you’ll realize it’s worth a million bucks. Stained glass windows, a Roman bath, and gilded ceilings make this a room truly fit for a king.

These might not be the most affordable hotel rooms around, but if you have the money to spare, they’re definitely the places to stay.
