If you’ve never been there before, Canada is definitely a country worth visiting at least once in your life. There are some amazing things to see there, including some landmarks that should be on everyone’s bucket list. They’re certainly one way to enjoy Canada with a difference.

Chateau Frontenac, Quebec City
Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City is an absolute must if you’re a fan of classic architecture. This 19th-century building was made to be admired, boasting sophistication and elegance both inside and out. It’s definitely worth booking a room there for a night if you can afford it in the budget. If not, though, simply walking around the landmark and enjoying the views it offers should be just as satisfying.

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick
Some landmarks are built in a matter of months. Others take years, decades, or even centuries to come together. That’s how it was for Hopewell Rocks, a series of natural rock formations that gradually came about through tidal erosion. These stunning landmarks are worth seeing, no matter what time of day it is or what season you’re in. However, if possible, it’s definitely worth trying to visit when the tide is low. That way, you’ll get to walk among the rocks and enjoy a much better look at them.

CN Tower, Toronto
One of the great things about CN Tower is that you can technically appreciate it from almost anywhere in the city. Reaching as high as 1,800 feet, it’s one of the tallest structures in the world, so it’s easy to spot if you’re even remotely close to the building. Of course, it’s worth getting up close and personal with this landmark because the observation tower offers the most incredible views. Plus, if you’re not afraid of heights, you can be a little daring and do the Edge Walk.

Peggy’s Cove lighthouse, Nova Scotia
Fans of the coast will undoubtedly want to visit Peggy’s Cove while they’re in Canada. It’s a beautiful coastal village that’s home to one of the world’s most iconic lighthouses. The landmark is only around half an hour from Halifax and makes the perfect backdrop for some stunning photographs. For a nice relaxing day, this is definitely the part of the country you want to stop off at.

Niagara Falls, Ontario
When it comes to Canadian landmarks, is there anything more notable than Niagara Falls? It’s one of those things that instantly come to mind when people think of the country, and for a good reason. The majestic falls are truly a breathtaking sight, no matter what angle you look at them from. They’re often considered by many to be one of the Natural Wonders of the World, and once you see them for yourself, you’ll understand why.
Canada has so much more to offer visitors than just a handful of impressive landmarks. However, if you’re going to be in the country, then these are definitely some of the things you should be prioritizing. After all, they’re part of what makes Canada such an iconic destination.
