Walt Disney World is supposed to be the place where dreams come true. What about being a place where you can spend $295 for a set menu that’s filled with the most luxurious food on offer at the park? It’s certainly been enough to tempt many into the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
The three dining rooms have all been revamped
If you want to experience the best that Walt Disney World has to offer, you might want to check out the “opulence and elegance” on offer at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. At least, that’s what the Disney Park Blogs claim. Each of the three dining rooms has been revamped in recent months, largely influenced by the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Now, each dining room is complete with embellished wall coverings and elaborate crystal chandeliers to bring a touch of pure class to the place before you even start to enjoy your meal.

The $295 fixed menu is just the beginning
Dining at Disney’s fine dining restaurant doesn’t come cheap, as each guest will have to fork over $295. However, this can be upped by another $150 per person if you choose to take advantage of the adult beverages on offer. That doesn’t mean you get a glass of cheap stuff, as there are more than 500 bottles to choose from, as well as other drinks that have been designed with elegance in mind. The best bit? Each beverage has been specially tailored to go with certain meals, something that’s advised to diners during their experience.
A water sommelier is on hand for every guest
Believe it or not, but every aspect of Disney’s fine dining experience has been perfectly tailored to ensure guests have the best taste experience of their lives. In fact, there are even water sommeliers on hand to ensure their drink perfectly complements every meal. That job goes to Israel Perez, who has been a part of Disney for the last two decades. Apparently, there are already plans to launch a water pairing program in the future to ensure things are the best they can be.

The menu is filled with incredible flavors
Of course, one thing many want to know is what they get for $295 from Disney’s most luxurious restaurant to date. It turns out the menu comes with flavors from across the world, with flavors like 100-year balsamico, heirloom tomatoes with gazpacho, carrot tikka masala, and Glacier 54 Toothfish served alongside sambal and charred mushrooms just some of the many on offer. Desserts also have their fair share of flavors, with things like tableside sabayon and specially sourced chocolates both earning their spot on the menu.
If you want to get a seat at Disney’s fine dining restaurant, then you might have to move fast. Having some of the best food you can find at Walt Disney World means plenty want to try it for themselves, even if it sets them back $295 a head. We guess you really can buy taste – literally, if it’s down to the food.
