These TV Shows Will Make You Want To Travel Right Now

The world is full of amazing television shows, but it’s also full of amazing destinations that just need to be added to your bucket list. Sure, most of us are pretty limited on where we can travel at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t use this opportunity to plan our future adventures. All you have to do is sit down on the couch, pick one of these awesome television shows, and marvel in the fact that one day you’ll be able to take yourself through the television screen and explore the places that can be seen within these shows.

White Lines

Everyone loves a mystery thriller, right? White Lines is one of the newest additions to Netflix, and there’s no doubt about the fact that it’s already infecting people with the travel bug. While the story itself is gripping and mysterious, it’s the scenery that really takes people on a journey. As the main character makes her way to Ibiza to search for her missing brother, we get to see so much more to this island than just the party scene. After all, it’s not called the “White Isle” for nothing. The landscape on this island looks ridiculous – and we mean that in a good way. Anyone want to come to Ibiza with us?

Game of Thrones

We’re just gonna go ahead and assume that everyone has watched Game of Thrones. It’s one of the most popular television shows out there, and while it’s since come to an end, that doesn’t mean that you can’t watch it all over again. This time, instead of focusing too much on the bloodshed and the fact that everyone seems to be related, try and focus on the scenery behind the action. We have a feeling that it will make you want to travel right away because this show was filmed in some epic locations. From the cobbled streets of Croatia to the grassy moors of Ireland, you’ll want to book your plane tickets ASAP.

Anne with an E

If you’re a fan of period dramas, then you should definitely add Anne with an E to your to-watch list. This show is based on the famous novel, Anne of the Green Gables, and it’s a beautiful story that follows a young girl as she grows into a young woman and experiences life around her. Much of this television show was shot in Canada, and many of the scenes within this show can be seen in rural Ontario. There are snow-covered mountains, there are rugged forests, and there’s a landscape that will make you want to put on your hiking boots and explore it for yourself. The show is heartwarming, and the locations are enticing.

If you find yourself fighting the urge to travel, then why not watch these shows to begin with? By watching these, you can feel inspired to add new destinations to your bucket list – and you’ll probably want to book your trip right away.
