These Are The Most Secluded Beaches In America

Let’s be honest; most people love a beach vacation. There’s nothing quite like slipping off your sandals to feel the sand in between your toes, and the sound of the waves crashing around you is enough to make anyone feel at peace. Many beach lovers travel across and around America to scout out the best of the best – but if you’re looking for something a bit more secluded, this can sometimes be difficult. Thankfully, it’s all about being in the know, and you need to know about these secluded beaches in America.

Dry Tortugas, Florida

Florida is known for its amazing beaches, but that means that most of them are filled with people and in the middle of the hubbub. That isn’t the case with Dry Tortugas beach. Located in the Dry Tortugas National Park, this beach can only be reached by those who are willing to travel by air or by water, which means that very few people actually make the trip. When you get there, though, you are met with some of the most beautiful scenery you have ever seen in your life.

Second Beach, Washington

Although it may have “second” in the name, this beach should definitely be at the top of your to-visit list. Second Beach isn’t the easiest beach to get to, but when you venture out on a short hike to find these beautiful sands and calm waters, you soon realize that all of the walking was worth it. What makes this beach even better is that you can camp along this coastline, meaning that you don’t have to leave the beach when the sun starts to set.

Pa’ako Cove, Hawaii

It probably won’t surprise you to know that Hawaii is home to countless secluded beaches, but there’s no doubt about the fact that Pa’ako Cove is one of the best. Located on the island of Maui, this beach can only be reached by those who are feeling adventurous enough to clamber over a lava-rock wall, and while this can be a little difficult for some, it could definitely be worse. Here, the golden sands mix with the lava chunks and the palm trees look incredible against the crystal-clear waters.

Assateague Island, Maryland

Beaches probably aren’t the first thing you think of when you think of Maryland, but Assateague Island is definitely something you need to check out for yourself. This secluded natural sanctuary can be reached by boat or a rather lengthy trek, but that’s what makes it so special. On this beach, the animals are in charge, which means that you could be sunbathing on the sand while wild horses roam around you. It’s a sight to behold, and one that you should definitely keep a secret.

If you’re looking for secluded beaches to check out in America, you’ll be happy to know that there are a few. Just remember to keep this information to yourself, though, so they remain quiet and peaceful for years to come.
