One of the best things about Grand Wailea is how it’s so family-friendly. The 780-room hotel comes with just about everything to keep the little ones entertained, including a set of rapids and swimming pools complete with waterslides. Have no fear if you want some quiet time; there is an adult-only pool that features its own swim-up bar, meaning you never have to leave the comfort of the water again.
Travaasa Hana
Believe it or not, but Hawaii isn’t famous for all-inclusive hotels, making Travaasa Hana a notable exception. The resort is almost like an adult summer camp that focuses on wellness and health as there are plenty of pathways to enjoy yourself. Guests don’t have alarm clocks or TVs and can enjoy everything from guided meditation classes to trekking through the nature trails on horseback. Although Travaasa Hana isn’t directly on the beach, they are only a short walk away, meaning we are never too far from our next adventure.
The Ritz-Carlton
Perhaps you want luxury from your hotel in Maui? Look no further than The Ritz-Carlton. The hotel’s main attraction is the three-tiered swimming pool in the middle of it all that comes with a sundeck to watch over the beach below. There are no less than six restaurants, four tennis courts, 100 miles of nature trails, and two golf courses. Each bedroom also comes with its own marble bathroom to make things as luxurious as possible.
Hotel Wailea
Being an adults-only hotel means that Hotel Wailea is great for adults looking for a romantic break away from the rest of the world. There are just 72 rooms, meaning the place is never overly crowded. Each suite faces the ocean for the most luxurious view possible, while the two restaurants mean that people never have to leave. If you want something extra special, be sure to check out the Treehouse, where guests can dine on a seven-course meal among the avocado and mango trees.
Four Seasons Resort Maui
You know that you’re in for a good time if a Four Season Resort is on offer. The Maui branch of the chain is no exception. It screams all things luxury as the hotel comes with access to one of the local towns’ five beaches. Four Seasons Resort Maui has recently been entirely renovated, meaning everything looks fresh out of the box. There are three restaurants, three pools, a beach, and an adults-only infinity pool with a swim-up bar.
Maui is one of the most popular – and beautiful – Hawaiin islands, making it a great place to get away from the rest of the world. We guess there’s only one way to decide which of these could be the best hotels in Maui.
